To Cobourg Citizens,
I am thrilled that I have been acclaimed as Mayor-Elect for the Town of Cobourg in the upcoming Municipal Election 2018. I have worked with my campaign team to create a web site to begin our dialogue and communications. I will be participating in the open, public meeting so that you will have an opportunity to view my brochure that highlights my platform.
I am encouraging citizens to vote in the advance poll from October 15 to 21, with the Election Day being October 22, 2018.
I look forward to working with the new Council members during orientation in December, at the Mayor’s Levee on January 1, 2019 and Council’s Strategic Planning session in February followed by the Budget process. Through public forums, on-going meetings, and community events I hope to have the opportunity to meet you and to gain your perspective on our community. With the new Council, I believe it will be an exciting four years where we can collectively move Cobourg forward in a progressive manner respecting our past and embracing our future.
John has proudly lived in Cobourg for 34 years with his wife Donna, raising their three kids, along with their dogs and cat. Retired after 33 years as a School Administrator and Teacher, John has dedicated his time to helping promote the town he calls home.
